On 17th December 2016, River Knight's Darren lost his wife to cancer. It hit him hard. As a kind of therapy, he started writing a songs but found it difficult putting his feelings into words, so he asked Mark to help him. They met once a week to give Darren support and direction. They decided to release the song that started it all, donating any and all artist royalties to Cancer Research UK.
